Beta was born in the city of São Paulo,
tropical Brazil.
She lived and worked in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Then became a Spanish teacher.
In the United States since 2004, she translates
a wild variety of subject matters, including poetry and the kitchen sink.
As an interpreter, Beta works in fields such as immigration, corporate, literary and educational.
As a voiceover, she lends her voice to characters, automated services, and instructional DVDs.
